We publish real-time impact statistics on our website, including total donations received, total debt paid off, and the number of people helped. Annual financial reports are available on our Impact page.

How does the donation process work?▼
You can make a one-time or recurring donation through our secure payment system powered by Stripe. 100% of your donation goes toward paying off student loans. You can choose to donate anonymously or have your name displayed on our donor wall.
Are donations tax-deductible?▼
Yes! Zero Balance Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations made by US taxpayers are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. You will receive a tax receipt for your records.

How do I apply for student loan assistance?▼

What types of loans qualify?▼
We currently focus on federal student loans held by the US Department of Education, serviced by approved loan servicers such as MOHELA, Nelnet, Aidvantage, and others.
How are applicants selected?▼
Our team reviews each application based on financial need, loan balance, and personal circumstances. We use a fair, non-discriminatory process to select recipients. We prioritize applicants with the greatest demonstrated need.
How can I check my application status?▼
After submitting your application, you can log in to your account and visit the "My Application" page to see the current status of your application.
